Where You Were Going
You sent us the places you were headed when the track first hit. Night buses, gym floors, kitchen tables at 2am. This is the map you built for us.
We asked one question: where were you going when you first heard it? We expected a few replies. We got a map.
The night bus
By a distance, the most common answer. Late buses, last trains, the walk from the stop to the front door. There is something about a song written at 4am finding people who are also awake at the wrong hour.
One message simply read: "Kept going one stop further so it could finish." We understand.
The gym floor
The second most common. Not the warm-up — the last set. The part where the decision is entirely mental.
A Dragon must stay trained, otherwise his wings get heavy.
The kitchen table at 2am
The quietest replies, and the ones we read most carefully. People between two versions of their life. People who had just handed in a resignation, ended something, or decided to start again. This is exactly the moment the song was written inside, and it reached the right rooms.
Kalverstraat
Several of you sent photographs from the street — the wordmark on a white tee in the middle of an ordinary afternoon. No stage, no neon. Just somebody walking through their own city wearing a promise.
What we take from it
A single candle can light a room, but a thousand candles can banish the deepest night. The more people who choose the Good, the stronger the combined power becomes.
You did not send us reviews. You sent us destinations. Keep them coming — we are still reading every one.
